A GIRL LIKE ME

Every child deserves an education, no matter what country they live in.  Our mission is to put this and other books into the hands of as many African and American children as possible.  We also want to build a permanent location for our school in Liberia; continue growing and educating children in Nigeria; and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout parts of Africa and America!   By using a percent of all proceeds from sales of the book and by raising separate financial support, we believe we can get this goal accomplished within the next couple of years.  WE cannot change the countries of Africa, but educated children can and will!

     ABOUT THE BOOK
A Girl Like Me is a story about the life of an American girl and the life of a West Africangirl, and how they become sisters. Though their cultures are very different, there are some things that are very much the same in these two girls’ lives. These similarities make
them realize they are not so different and that they have family all around the world.
